40 High Street Hemel Hempstead
From Moor End Roundabout, Hemel Hempstead:
Take the Leighton Buzzard exit off the Moor End Roundabout. Go straight along the Leighton Buzzard Road for about half a mile, passing through one set of traffic lights, and going across a small roundabout at the top of Combe Street (to your right).
You will come to a bigger roundabout where West Herts College, Dacorum Campus, will be on your right. Turn right here and then bear left at the next small roundabout a short distance further on. You will see signs for the Old Town.
Almost immediately take the next left turning into the Old High Street, which is now a one way street, and drive up the hill, passing the White Hart pub on your left. Next to this pub is a music shop by the side of which is a small driveway going through the buildings. This is where you will need to come once you have parked.
Drive further up the road and look for a parking space either along the side of the road or if necessary you can go further up to almost the end of the High Street and turn left into a larger car park which then runs down behind all the shops you have just driven past. Please take care to get the correct ticket for the space you have parked in, and do not park in the bus stop layby.
Walk back down the High Street and come to the driveway, There is a silver grey sign to the right on the front of the building indicating where the consulting room is, headed Old Town Counselling and Psychotherapy Service. Follow the arrow round and come to the porch with a black painted trellis round it. You will see a similar sign there, and a doorbell with my name by it.
If walking this far is a problem it can sometimes be possible to arrange parking immediately behind the premises – please let me know if this is so and we can arrange something suitable.
Please make sure you press the doorbell quite firmly as it does not always sound upstairs if pressed too softly. Please also note that there is no receptionist or waiting room at the premises, and if you arrive early, there may not be anyone available to let you in, so please take care to come exactly at the time of your appointment.
